Open Question: Looking for a job in Fort Hood Texas area?
Hello,
I recently relocated to the Ft Hood Area with my husband who is active duty. Prior to our move I worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia for eight years. I have also worked at a hospital in the billing office doing medical billing, insurance verification and working the A/R reports. I am experienced with all products in health insurance (HMO, PPO, POS, Medicare, Medicaid and Tricare, etc). For two of the years I worked for Blue Cross, I was a refund recovery analyst for the Medicare Subrogation Unit. I did third party collections.
Since moving here, I have been unable to find a job. I have excellent references available. If there are any offices/facilities seeking someone to do medical billing, insurance verification, thir party collections or ANYTHING else, please let me know. I am not above cleaning offices. I just need a job. Full time or Part time. Either is fine. I would gladly accept minimum wage.
Thanks for your time and I will keep my fingers crossed that there is a need for my background. Thanks again and take care!!!
Resolved Question: Who is your favorite Red Dirt/Texas Country band?
There is a movement in Texas and Oklahoma called Red Dirt/Texas Country. It is a mixture of country, southern rock, folk, and blues. Basically, alot of people were tired of the Nashville ‘Cookie Cutter’ route (almost everything that comes out of Nashville is pop… not just Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood) and started doing things their own way. There are now radio stations all over the two states that play strictly Red Dirt/Texas Country. A few bands to check out, just to name a few, would be Cross Canadian Ragweed, Stoney Larue, No Justice, Reckless Kelly and Wade Bowen.
So, who is your favorite?
And remember… The only thing “cowboy” in Tim McCraw is Kenny Chesney. =0)
Resolved Question: Why doesn’t someone in California sue UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross/Shield on fraud like New York?
and Texas. The big health plans have got everyone in the system by the short hairs when they refuse to pay bills they’re responsible for or only pay half. That hurts everyone. Our long time doctor’s closing his practice he’s so tired of fighting these insurance giants. The reimbursements are below costs to give the care and he can’t update equipment or pay the extra employees who just battle the PPOs. Where’s it going to end?
