Open Question: what does it take to become a trauma surgeon?
I already know a lot of science. Not so much of math tho math is some what important.
I was never strong in my acidemics like I really screwed up a lot in high school and the beging of college. but now that I am more mature I am willing to do what it takes.
However i would like to know a bit more before declaring my major.
like what is like to be a surgeon and how much school.
also how does this residency work? are you still part of your school? or the hospital? do you get paid?
The Medical school im planning on attending said I have to major in something ANY thing and take a pre med class then pass that and go into medical school
is it recommended i study something in medicine? cause I am curious about psychology and want to study that for a bit. But I want to be a great doctor.
I know its going to be a long process. So what should I be expecting in the days before I become a doctor to life of a doctor.
I am not doing it for money but for the thrill. I enjoy working in fast pace environments and thinking fast. I do have to strengthen up my science and math skills a bit. But so far I been getting straight A’s

I would like to find information on the technical idea behind the healthcare IT stimulus package.
I want to understand where all the data in the end is supposed to be centralized (online, one particular EMR?) and how other EMRs will integrate/interface with it? Also, how are the several existing medical records that may already exist for one patient supposed to be merged?
Any information would be helpful. I could not find details online.

Open Question: i think i need a psychiatrist? please help, i need advice.?
ok so there are alot of things involved but i will give an examply of why i think i need professional help:
I live a very high stress job. i work, go to school, and do alot of work for church. on top of that i wont say no to no one. my mom needs help for dinner @ 6 pm? sure. but i also have to turn my online homework at 8 pm and was planning to work on it at that time.
my poor husband suffers from this. why? because now i relieve all my stress on him. i start name calling and acting very violent towards him. he just ignores me but i know it kills him.
then i have a huge guilt trip… and on top of that i have huge problems with my body. if someone mentions to me.. “oh because u can wear that cuz u dont have big breast” i will cry for hours when i get home.
i want to change. and i always say i will but i keep saying VERY hurtful things to my husband, i have a really bad case of anger management.
i want to seek professional help but i dont want no one to find out. i always hear people talking so badly about people who see a psychiatrist or whatever that i dont even want my husband to know.
will my regular medical insurance cover it? how much will it be? ADVICE pls.
