Open Question: Are DEMOCRATS surprized at MIDDLE CLASS RESISTANCE TO BEING FORCED ONTO MEDICAID?
Do DEMOCRATS want to break healthcare risk pooling plans offered to middle class so they are stuck on MEDICAID?
Should someone 1% likely to have million dollar medical bill pay the same as someone 99% likely?

If you were to offer middle class families with a program where they could pool their risk of catastrophic healthcare costs together such that they pay a small deterministic amount of money and are covered in the event of a low probability catastrophe that costs millions of dollars, would it be fair if you charged someone 1% likely to have a million dollar medical bill the same as someone 99% likely

The reason I ask this is that Nancy Pelosi and her radical supporters want to ban any private pool risk programs offered to the middle class that tolerate different price between risk.

There should be a government safety net to take care of those who cannot be self-sufficent with their healthcare costs through private programs like these. MEDICAID program is for this.

Its one thing to have tax payers pay for a program like MEDICAID. It is something completely different to require those responsible enough to buy their own insurance to pay for it. It is a penalty for being responsible and would break the entire risk pooling system forcing everyone in the middle class to be stuck on Medicaid

Unfortunately that is PRECISELY why Pelosi wants it, i.e. Single-Payer!

Middle class and dependence on Nancy Pelosi’s generosity as the government becomes a monopolistic power controlling our healthcare choices!

Why are so many people letting Pelosi to force the entire middle class onto MEDICAID!?!?!

And by the way, why on earth do DEMOCRATS refuse to allow individuals to purchase their own insurance with the same pre-tax dollars that they allow employers? Do they want middle class to be shackled to their employer for insurance coverage?

Open Question: Did you hear the Administration admits it tried to gag free speech?
That’s right, no 1st Amendment protection if you are one of those evil businesses making profits. At least, that’s what they tried.

They tried to shut up Humana medical for the terrible outrage of telling the truth about Obamacare!

In relevant part:

In September, Humana Inc. sent a mailer to some 900,000 enrollees in its Medicare Advantage plans, the program that gives seniors a choice of private insurance options, warning that spending cuts would result in reduced benefits and some people losing their coverage. The Congressional Budget Office has said the same thing, but the Obama apparat went nuclear. At the behest of Senate Finance Chairman Max Baucus, Medicare’s administrators menaced Humana with fines and regulatory punishments, and even told all insurers participating in Advantage to shut up too—or else.

In its Friday ruling, Medicare slapped Humana on the wrist for disseminating information that it claimed was “misleading to beneficiaries”—even though it was perfectly true—but also lifted the gag order.

That’s right folks, the truth certainly can be misleading! Oh well, it’s not like they were trying to compile a list of dangerous individuals trying to tell misleading truths about health care — oops! They already got caught at that, didn’t they?

Why is Uncle Barry so maniacally determined to do it His way, even though there are much simpler solutions that will really be cheaper, would really save people money, and get government out of the doctor’s office?

Is it really just about power and control?

Voting Question: Why don’t Americans understand that their anarcho-individualistic mentality has totally failed?
Isn’t this crisis enough to make them understand that to exit this situation they can’t plan strategies of moderation of the capitalistic system, but they have to totally abandon it? How long will they continue to privilege the radical competitiveness between individuals that lid them to the social problems they have today, with a medical insurance that doesn’t cover almost the 16% of population; with a diffused classism that allows just the upper-middle classes to have access to services that are excessively expensive; with a constant search of excellence that aims to eliminate the weakest subjects rather than help them, persisting in following the social Darwinism theories that by now are overcome; with the constant idea that economic success is the only meter to measure the quality of a man, even in a moral meaning? For what? Just for beautiful and noble values like consumerism, materialism, narcisism, that spit to the face of social relations that make man a political animal, born to live and develop in a symbiotic relation with community, so that every single human being may have a serene life. Unfortunately this crisis is leading us to an inextricable paradox. Right now that man should rediscover commune relationships, team work and cohesion, the thrust that drag men to occupy the few jobs left has never been so strong, making us victims of a fierce fight for survival, that is a peculiar characteristic of radical-capitalistic models and that manifestly enacted their failure, since they are demeaning in a social-psychological-wealth point of view. Will the Europeans be able to emancipate from the American model of economical rebirth? Will they be able to cut the same thread that links their reprise to the American one? Will men ever be able to make a step backwards and realize that capitalism, the same capitalism that now is exploited by nations like China and India, is not the only way left after the fall of the Berlin Wall?

p.s. I AM NOT A COMMUNIST!!!
