Open Question: Question for anyone who has GHI dental insurance.?
My husband works for the state.He gets his dental coverage through GHI.He added me to his policy for dental,vision and health as soon as we got married on the 14th of march.Shouldnt i have gotten a card?Am i covered and use the same card?I got my card already that has mine,my husbands and my sons name on it for health and vision(there under the same card and dental is seperate) a long time ago?Am i covered or is there like a waiting period or something?I read somewhere that there is like waiting period of 56 days or something from the day you become covered?Does anyone know anything about this??Hes going to call tommorow,just wondering about it now.

Open Question: i need advice on $1400 worth of doctor bills from 09?
Hi im 20 yrs old and I currently waitress for a living. I cant get enough hours at by job to be entitled to health insurance and i honestly cant afford to pay >$100/month for policies like blue cross, etc. Anyway, my doctor bill for just the first half of this yr already constitue 25% of my income! im getting ‘final notice’ letters from like 6 offices and several have sent my balances to collections already. i want to pay on these and am scared of ruining my credit before i even get out in the world. two offices recommended that i fill out “financial hardship forms” to apply for lower monthly payments at THEIR offices, and im currently making monthly payments at 4 others totaling so far $100/month. most of the offices DONT offer “financial hardship” apps and demand at least $50/m. so i guess i was just wondering if there was a way i could bundle all of my doctor bills together to pay one certain decent monthly amount, or if i could contact some outside office to be a kind of middleman in allowing me to pay less monthly to those demanding doctors. i dont know anything about medicade or things like that, or if i qualify, im single, employed, i have to dependents, etc. i just want to get things taken care of without going broke
