Open Question: Could I possibly have a kidney infection?
For the past week I have been expriencing a sharp pain were my left kidney would be, the pain is intense and painful when it occurs. However, today at work the pain seemed to come but stayed and the pain was dull in comparison to the sharp pains I was having, in addition, my abdomen began to hurt to like something was pulling on my insides. I do not have health insurance so please do not suggest going to the doctor because I can not do so, but some needed home remedies would be just fine to suggest. Thanks to all who respond with knowledgeable advice and for those who don’t I thank you as well.

I live in NJ and it looks like the main health insurers are: Oxford Health Plans, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, New Jersey AmeriHealth HMO according to http://www.medicalinsuranceaid.com.
Does anyone have information about how these insurance companies compare or even if you don’t know anything about the others – if you are part of one of these plans, any feedback would be great.
I would have to cover 3 kids and a spouse. When i did the price comparison the HMO was cheaper but i don’t want to go on just price.

Since USA is socialist now, according to conservative talk radio, I’m wondering when we’ll get a good transit system like all other socialist countries in Europe? Not to mention health care for everyone?
