Open Question: Please Help!!! College grad, can’t find job. tried everything. What do i do?
I’m 23 and a college graduate. Monster, Career Builder and Hotjobs have been completely useless. I have seen one job on any site that i would want to apply for. I studied journalism in college but none of the newspapers are hiring b/cthey are failing ive tried them all. I dont even really care if i work in that field i just want a job that pays at least $35,000 a year and i can’t find anything. either nobody is hiring or the money is barely minimum wage. I have to stay near my home b/c i have no car, no money and still live at home. Ive already done internships so i’m doing that again. i need money and benefits and i’m not taking some retail or waitress job i could have had when i was 16 with no degree. i didn’t spend all that time and money for school to make $7.00 an hour. thats not happening. I have student loans and really need health insurance. I want to make real money at a real job.
Open Question: Health Care Cost Need help on questions !!?
1. Given the demographics of the U.S. population, what do you think the major challenges will be regarding the cost of, and access to, health care in the next 20 years?
2. Right now, responsibility for paying for health care is concentrated in the public and private sectors of the economy. Since the money for health care all comes from the same source (us), do you think this current division between public and private is efficient and effective? If so, why? If not, which segment of the economy should be accountable, the market or the government? Why?
3. Which program is more feasible…national health insurance or national health care? What is the difference between the two programs?
4. What does healthcare look like in other countries?
5. What is an allied health position? Will allied health positions influence healthcare in the future? If so, how? If not, why?
6. What is alternative medicine? Provide an example. What role do you think it will play in our future?
Thanks!
