Open Question: Will America be better off in the long run with its current health care/insurance policies?
Looking thirty years into the future, do you think we’d be better off if we just left it the way it is? Do you think that our economy will continue to flourish by connecting health insurance to employment? If there are 307,000,000 people in this country and 47,000,000 people supposedly are without insurance, should we really care since that is the minority? That means that over 250,000,000 people have insurance and are happy, so wouldn’t, in a democracy, the voice of the *majority* matter over the minority?

Open Question: Why are people surprised with the backlash over the Government takeover of health care?
With numbers like this why does it come as a surprise to people that most Americans are fighting Government takeover of health care.

The vast majority of people with insurance are very happy with their coverage and with their health care.

Normally you have some good points but I have to call you out on this, I cannot one poll with support that high for single payer in this country. The ones I find average about 35%.

Open Question: How about this for Health Insurance Reform?
Let people buy insurance across state lines.

This seems like an easy bill to pass and would allow for true competition. We have to start trying some new things now.

I am not saying this would fix everything but I think it is a good starting point. We could pass this bill and give it two years to see if it works.
