Open Question: Disability Determination – Mental Issues – Abuse – Legal Advice?
Info:
- lives in kansas
- 19 year old, full time college student, part time worker
- Been abused in current household all my life
- Because of the abuse I’ve been suffering with my bipolar, depression, and hallucinations due to anxiety for 5 years, worst the past few years
- Because of these issues I can’t get health insurance, and being able to attend work and school is very hard for me
- Have a job currently (working one month now), it’s one of the longest times I’ve ever managed to have a job (I answer phones)
- Recently denied Disability because they said, though I had hundreds of doctors (psychiatric and emergency room hospitals) notes, I was still suitable to get an easy task-less job like a telemarketer or something.
Problem:
it is too hard for me, i barely have any money saved up, have no car, for i hallucinate and that would prevent driving often, and i quit jobs often because i can’t handle the stress. so i’m 19, stuck in my home with mother and sibling, abused daily, and can’t take it. the only way to free myself of the abuse is to move out, but without disability it isn’t possible, who knows how long i can have this part time job with my condition. I can’t make friends, too low in confidence because my family treats me as worthless and makes me feel small, and my grandparents won’t let me live with them.
I need legal advice, please.
Open Question: What political issues or stances that YOU hold that YOU would barter for in exchanged for others?
Like if progressives wanted mandatory health insurance or universal health care, could there be a couple issues/stances from which the progressives would give to conservatives? Or allow tougher crime sentences, reduction of government in another area, etc.
Kind of a recent example, they could even allow a few conservatives points into health care (the two that come to mind in this case was the issue brought up by republicans (an ID for non emergency cases), and what the blue democrats wanted (more protection fetuses), both of which were turned down in the recent health bill proposal.
And the other way around as well, letting some conservative goal in in concession for a few progressive ones.

Open Question: First herpes outbreak while menstrual cycle is on! HELP!?
I have not been diagnosed by a doctor with herpes but I’ve been researching my symptoms and im almost 100% sure that I have contracted genital herpes. What I’m thinking is my first initial genital herpes outbreak has occurred at the same time my menstrual cycle has come on. I’m having intense pain. I do no have health insurance to go to a GYN and I’m not sure if they will be able to do anything at the emergency room while I am menstruating. If there is anyone out there with ANY information about genital herpes, and how to soothe the pain of these sores PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE reply. Thanks in advance.
The sores are so painful that I cannot use a tampon, only a pad.
