Open Question: Help me Professional Insurance Agents With Experience as independent insurance Agencies?
I am currently working as a captive agent my company pays me a salary of 1000 a mth plus my renewal commissions are about 500 a mth they also pay all but 100.00 a mth for health insurance and match my 401k they pay commission of 15 new and 7 renewal.they have changed our commissions of 25-30 percent on new bus. to the 15% and have made it to where the only people we can write up to get business is people that have perfect credit and atleast a 250,000.00 home with no claims before we can even compete with the other carriers in my area and then its very close.I have the chance to become an independent agent with several different companies that pay 15/15 and i would be responsible for every thing else.Please if you could give me advice please do so.My salary with my company will end in oct.It will be the beginning of my 3rd year.Ive been top sales in my region since ive been w/ my company.But the companies that i will be rep. does give little incentives for selling with them to.I sell p&c and commercial ins. if it matters.Should i change or stick w/ my company.I thought someone with experince might could give me some advice.My Email is timt32000@yahoo.com

Resolved Question: Do we have 401K plan in Thailand?
My organization paid good salary with health insurance, travel allowance, education allowance, Severance pay (Thai laws). But they don’t have 401K or retirement plan. Therefore, if I do not save money I will not have any saving.
Currently, I open to Thai bank account–Standard Charter Thai and Siam Commercial Bank. I used them on my daily activities–paying bills etc.
Can you please suggest financial plan? What kind of program I can enroll to save about 10-20% of income each month without me using them to buy “nice-to-have” staff lol?
