Open Question: Are you prepared to pay 10-11-13% of your income for $1100-1300 deductible health insurance, not copay?
Will you go to the doctor more if another large percentage of your income is taken from your check and you still have to pay for office visits until you have paid $1100 to $1300 deductible before your insurance kicks in each year?

Skip to page 16 to see the summary. This is a report by Blue Cross Blue Shield, a nonprofit health insurance provider. Government interventions causes health care costs to rise, not go down.

Why doesn’t the government talk about the price each American will pay for government run health care plans?
I never heard anyone say heath care should cost 1/3 of your income. Why work? Where did you hear that?
So no matter what it costs each American, it is better if the government runs it? You think it will be free or cheap? It won’t be. People are ignoring the costs they will incur just thinking they will be better off but has the government promised anything except they will make sure more people get health insurance at the expense of the tax payer. You’ll also be paying higher taxes even if not directly higher income tax.

Resolved Question: Missouri Medicaid v.s Health insurance during pregnancy.?
I am pregnant(4 weeks), and I am think about applying for medicaid.
My husband’s employer just offers health insurance. He turned the paper in a week ago(I am not in his health insurance due to the expensive cost, and I didn’t know I am pregnant).
If I want to get into his health insurance(Blue Cross) now, am I gonna be accepted even though I’m pregnant? Will they cover maternity for me?
If I also apply for Medicaid and being qualified, should I still stay in my husband’s health insurance?
I just wanna find the best way not to spend extra money for maternity and have a back-up plan.
P.S I heard people talked about medicaid coverage would expires. Does it expire because of increase income or just have certain coverage period(ex:10 months…etc)?
Please help~I’d appreciate your help~

Open Question: i need medical attention in CA! Please Help!?
Are there any medical programs in CA that can help??
A little about my situation:
1. I was denied health insurance from Blue-cross/Anthem
2. I was denied by a local county medical program because i “made too much money” [ i make a tiny bit more than 200% Federal Poverty Level]
3. I am unemployed and found that i cannot reduce how much money i get each month. the only other option would be to quit unemployment.
4. i am 27 and have no kids. AFAIK that means i am not eligible for MediCAL.

I fear that i need multiple tests done including upper and lower GI series/Xray/MRI to determine what the heck is causing all this pain.
I fear even worse having to pay this out of pocket, but if it comes down to that i would.

Thank you so much for your time!
