Open Question: What would happen to health insurance companies if government take over the health insurance system?
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I heard that Obama is trying to push a public health system that will allow everybody to have health insurance no matter what pre existing conditions he or she may have.
If this is reached, what would happen to insurance carriers like Blue Cross, Blue Shield? Will we need these companies and health insurance agents?

Open Question: blue cross, blue shield?
I have a medical insurance that I just switched to, blue cross, blue shield, what does it cover? because I called an eye doctor and they told me there were different types of BC/BS and I have no idea which one I have.
if you could help me to figure out ways to figure out what kind of insurance it covers and how much they pay in bills and if they cover dermatology, eye doctors, stuff like that or if there was a way I could find out.
